Los Gatos
Los Gatos is one of Santa Clara’s oldest communities. Incorporated into the community in 1887, Los Gatos was nicknamed “Cat’s Corner” by early settlers due to the screams of mountain lions prowling in the night. It has since transformed into a suburban community for San Jose. This city features wooded hills, creeks, and flat topography just alongside the technological hub of Silicon Valley. Located south of San Francisco and nestled between the Santa Clara Valley and the Santa Cruz mountains, Los Gatos offers a beautiful natural landscape and a growing economy.
Between the bustling downtown and the deep valley floor, visitors can find much to do in Los Gatos. For intellectuals, the New Museum Los Gatos features locally connected and globally relevant exhibits and lectures. Foodies can stop at Cafe Los Gatos for a delicious breakfast in a quaint brick cafe, sample wines and oils in We Olive and Wine Bar, then round out the night at Steamer’s Grillhouse for an All-American meal. Visitors seeking outdoor adventures enjoy the Castle Rock Falls, the Vasona Lake county park, and outdoor rock climbing in the Castle Rock park.
Rich in history and culture, Los Gatos is home to approximately 30,000 residents and draws visitors from every corner of the United States. Check out the services we offer to our local customers in the greater Los Gatos area.
